Do I have to be home to explain where I want the scaffold?

Not necessarily as most of the information that’s needed can be discussed over the phone or email.

If I want the scaffold changed for any reason do I need to go through Scaff Search.UK first?

No, once the scaffold has been built any adaptations or alterations should be discussed directly with the scaffold company, but we are always here to help if needed.

Who do I contact once I’m finished with the scaffold?

It’s very important that the chosen scaffold company is notified as soon as possible that the scaffold is finished with, so that you don’t occur any extra hire charges.

How long can I have the scaffold for?

Usually you will have 4-6 weeks to complete the work that’s required, anytime after that the scaffold will go into extra hire.

What is extra hire on scaffolding?

The extra hire charges consist of anytime that’s lapsed over the time given for works to be carried out. This will be calculated at a percentage rate of the overall price for either each day or week that the scaffold is required.

Does the area where the scaffolding is required need to be clear?

Yes most definitely. This will help the scaffolders to enable a safe working area to build the structure, it will also prevent any accidents that may occur from moving objects.

How long does my quote for scaffolding stand for?

All quotations will expire in a 3 month period, unless an arranged agreement is needed for certain circumstances.

How long do I wait for my scaffolding to be cleared away once finished with?

Once notifying the scaffold company that the structure is ready for dismantling, you should be given a date for when you should expect them to arrive.
